THE COOLEST THING MADE IN DELAWARE CONTEST

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and its affiliate, the Delaware Manufacturing Association, are seeking to determine the Coolest Thing Made in Delaware! The contest aims to highlight Delaware’s vibrant and diverse manufacturing industry, which employs more than 26,500 Delawareans, and promote the sector as a top career path.
This competition is an engaging and imaginative online voting, bracket-style tournament designed to allow Delawareans to choose the coolest thing made in our state. Simultaneously, it aims to educate the general public about the manufacturing industry in Delaware, as well as its impact, careers, and products.

The 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Delaware contest will open in January 2025. The winner will be announced at the Spring Manufacturing & Policy Conference on March 27, 2025.
CONTEST TIMELINE: Voting will start at 9 am on the first day of each round and end at 4:30 pm on the last day, with the exception of the final round. OPEN NOMINATION PERIOD: January 21- February 19 POPULAR VOTE: February 20-27 TOP 16: March 6-12 TOP 8: March 13-19 TOP 4: March 20-27 WHAT DO YOU WIN?The company that wins the Coolest Thing Made in Delaware competition will receive a custom award, a feature story in Delaware Business magazine with professional photography, extensive promotion throughout the competition and following the announcement, and, of course, bragging rights!

Spring Manufacturing & POLICY conference
The Chamber's affiliate, the Delaware Manufacturing Association, in partnership with DEMEP and Delaware Technical Community College, hosts the Spring Manufacturing & Policy Conference. It is held in Dover each year. The purpose of the manufacturing conference is to recognize the many important contributions that manufacturers make to the Delaware economy. Delaware's Governor is always the invited keynote speaker for brunch. The audience includes manufacturers, business leaders, elected officials and state dignitaries.
