Our MissionIntern Delaware has partnered with thirty companies to coordinate experiences for their summer interns that focus on the benefits of living in Delaware. Through a series of educational events, interns will have access to business leaders while learning about the unique aspects of Delaware’s economy and culture. It is a flagship program of the partnership, inc.—the 501(c)(3) workforce development affiliate of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce.
“We’re in constant competition with other states and metropolitan areas around the country for young talent. I cannot think of anything more important than a program like Intern Delaware to attract young people to our state.” — Governor John Carney |

TestimonialsHear from our cohort members what they had to say about their experience:
Adam walterMy experience with Intern DE was awesome. It was a great way to get introduced to DE, while interacting with other interns and professionals in the area.
The variety of events allowed me to make a wide array of connections and opened my eyes to the vast number of industries in DE. I learned a lot of what DE has to offer a young professional. I’ll be staying on with Chemours part-time and Intern DE was a major part of it. - Adam Walter, Chemours, Home state: New York Vidhi patelIntern DE gave me opportunities to meet professionals alongside other interns through the state, who have internships in different companies and departments. I love how in Delaware as a small state we have so much opportunity to succeed, with professionals who are willing to take time out there day and talk to the young interns. - Vidhi Patel, Belfint Lyons & Shuman, Home state: Delaware |
