COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS INTERN
The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce produces an award-winning bimonthly magazine, manages a variety of electronic communications, and handles media and public relations for news and events. We also plan and execute dozens of events each year, ranging from intimate networking breakfasts of about 50 people to our signature Annual Dinner that draws more than 1,000 attendees. Applicants must include two to three writing samples along with your inquiry.
Who should apply: Students in their junior or senior year of college seeking practical business/technical communications and publishing experience.

As a policy intern, you will see legislative advocacy in action — from visiting Legislative Hall and interacting with state legislators and lobbyists, to tracking bills from their proposal through to implementation. As a photography intern, you will have the opportunity to capture everything from intimate networking events to large-scale gatherings, and to see your work published in professional media. This role offers a chance to build your portfolio while gaining real-world experience in event and editorial photography.
