Last year, we launched How They Voted to give Delawareans a straightforward look at how members of the General Assembly voted on legislation the Delaware State Chamber identified as important to the business community. This year, we took that effort a step further.
At the start of the 2026 legislative session, all members of the General Assembly were notified that How They Voted would expand to include legislator grades based on the State Chamber’s publicly stated positions on key legislation. The result is a scorecard that adds greater accountability and shows how legislators’ votes align with policies that affect job creation, economic growth, and Delaware’s long-term competitiveness. Our goal is to present the facts, provide greater transparency, and connect the decisions made in Legislative Hall with Delaware’s future.
