DelACCESS Consortium Drives Regional Small Business Economy

The DelACCESS  Consortium is a private/public partnership that focuses on driving small business growth in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania through inclusive sourcing, technology and supplier diversity initiatives. Mike Bowman, Chairman and President of the Delaware Technology Park and a board director of the DelACCESS Consortium said, “Small companies account for almost 85 percent of employment and are viewed as the innovators in the region; however, they depend on revenue from larger corporations and institutions. Better connections between these sectors through the education and business processes of DelACCESS Consortium will yield enormous economic benefits for all.” For more information about DelACCESS, visit www.delaccess.org.

Everyone Benefits from the NAA

The Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Tax Credit program encourages organizations and individuals who pay Delaware State income taxes to invest in programs serving impoverished neighborhoods or serving low and moderate-income families. Each year a maximum of $500,000 in tax credits is available statewide. To benefit from the reduced tax liability and to pitch in and help afford programs for education, community revitalization, affordable housing, crime prevention and job training, contact Lisa McCloskey at the Delaware State Housing Authority: (302) 739-4263, ext. 208.
