As a member, you have the opportunity to host an event at your organization! Get people to your office, gain publicity through our free promotions and share with other members what you have to offer. Networking Breakfasts
Typically the first or second Tuesday of the month
7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Networking breakfasts provide a laid back atmosphere for meeting new people and fostering exisiting relationships before the work day begins. Usually this event can expect between 20 and 50 attendees, depending on various factors.
Host provides:
- Light breakfast refreshments, such as muffins and coffee
- Event space
- One or two door prizes
Host receives:
- Logo and/or name in promotions, including membership e-newsletters, event email blasts, Twitter and Facebook posts, and printed flyers
- Publicity of organization and its message
- Three to five minutes to speak to attendees
Mid-Day Mixers
12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Mid-day mixers occur during lunchtime and are an alternative to the breakfast time.
Host provides:
- Simple lunch, such as sandwiches and fruit salad
- Event space
- One or two door prizes
Host receives:
- Logo and/or name in promotions, including membership e-newsletters, event email blasts, Twitter and Facebook posts, and printed flyers
- Publicity of organization and its message
- Three to five minutes to speak to attendees
Evening Mixers
Typically on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings throughout the month
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Evening Mixers are a great way to get people together after work to mix and mingle. They range from non-profit meet and greets to Young Executives happy hours.
Host provides:
- Event space
- Light refreshments or discounted food/drink specials - a sponsor may be recruited if refreshments are not complimentary
- One or two door prizes
Host receives:
- Logo and/or name in promotions, including membership e-newsletters, event email blasts, Twitter and Facebook posts, and printed flyers
- Publicity of organization and its message
- Three to five minutes to speak to attendees
Small Business Alliance Workshop
Typically a Tuesday or Wednesday morning, quarterly
Our workshops are educational in nature and sometimes require a larger classroom-style environment.
Host provides:
- Event space
- Light breakfast refreshments, or a sponsor will be recruited
- Audio/Visual capabilities
Host receives:
- Logo and/or name in promotions, including membership e-newsletters, event email blasts, Twitter and Facebook posts, and printed flyers
- Publicity of organization and its message
- Three to five minutes to speak to attendees
