Q: What if I already have a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware (BCBSD) Plan? A: Companies who already have a BCBSD plan are still eligible for the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce (DSCC) Health Plan. Please note: If your company currently has the New Castle County Chamber Health Plan, you are not eligible to switch to the DSCC plan due to contractual requirements. Q: Is this plan limited to companies with a certain number of employees? A: No, however the plans are designed for companies with less than 150 employees. Q: What if my current insurance broker is not a DSCC member? A: The DSCC Health Plan is only sold through DSCC-member insurance brokers. For a list of current DSCC-member brokers, click here. Q: Can I get this plan if I am not a DSCC member? A: No, the DSCC Health Plan is available only to DSCC members. Q: Do I have to wait to switch to this plan? A: No, the one-year waiting period to switch to another plan is not in effect for the DSCC-member health plans. Q: How many of my employees have to participate for me to get this plan?
