The Delaware Drug Card is a FREE prescription assistance program, compliments of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. The Delaware Drug Card can provide savings of up to 75% on prescription drugs at over 50,000 pharmacy locations across the country.
The Delaware Drug Card has no restrictions to membership, no income or age limitations, and you are not required to fill out an application. It aims to help uninsured and underinsured Delaware resident afford their prescription medications. However, the program can also be used by people who have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefits, which is common in many health savings accounts (HSA) and high deductible health plans. Additionally, people who have prescription coverage can use this program for non-formulary or non-covered drugs.
All prescriptions processed through the Delaware Drug Card are completely confidential. This program has "LOWEST PRICE" logic to guarantee that you pay the lowest price on your prescriptions (you pay the lower of a discount off the Average Wholesale Price-AWP, a discount calculated off MAC Pricing, or the Pharmacy Promotional/Retail price).
You only have to show the card one time to your pharmicist. After that, your information is stored and can be used on all future fills.
