Thank you for your interest in Advocates of Hope: Raising Cancer Awareness in the Business Community. On behalf of the 2009 Advocates of Hope (AOH) Committee, I invite you to view our brief video. This video provides helpful and moving testimonials from cancer survivors, caregivers, and colleagues – including First Lady Carla Markell, and Founding AOH members Jim Randall and Linda Drake.

After watching the video, we encourage you to complete the online assessment of your workplace. When you provide contact information, you will receive communication offering your company assistance in continuing to develop workplace plans for dealing with cancer in your work environment – for those who are newly diagnosed, or caregivers for family members or survivors returning to work. Helpful resources are also available for work teams that have been impacted by cancer. We look forward to your active participation and welcome your feedback about this important initiative.

Thank you.

Katie Wilkinson,

Wilmington Trust,

Advocates of Hope Committee Chair

About Advocates of Hope:

Advocates of Hope: Raising Cancer Awareness in the Business Community was launched in 2005 in response to Delaware’s cancer rates and their impact on employers and the workplace. The goal of the State Chamber’s cancer awareness initiative is to deliver information about cancer, prevention and available resources to Delaware employers and their employees.
