About Delaware

Sussex County

Sussex County is Delaware’s southernmost county, and its largest by land area, with 938 square miles. It features some of the country’s best beaches, restaurants, wildlife, nightlife, golf courses, boardwalk areas and tax-free shopping. Western and central Sussex is comprised of fertile farmland—and Sussex County produces the most poultry of any county in the United States.
